WorldSmart Unified Email service goes far beyond just handling your email communications. It provides complete messaging/groupware services as well, including a hosted email box, web client, groupware functions and mobile client syncing services. You don't have to deal with the cost and hassle of a separate email service or the complex management of a local exchange server. WorldSmart Email server works with your existing Outlook email clients and will even synchronize emails, calendars and contacts with Windows Mobile, iPhone and Blackberry devices. It also provides an Internet browser interface if you are traveling.

Complete Email Support

WorldSmart's Unified Email service includes support for SMTP, POP3 & IMAP protocols. In addition mobile synchronization protocols such as iPhone and Windows Mobile ActiveSync are supported, allow for "push" updates of emails, calendar events and contacts. Adminstration is handled through a tab on the WorldSmart dashboards.

Groupware Services

WorldSmart's Unified Email service can be used as a lightweight Exchange alternative. WorldSmart users can share address-book, calendar and task data with other WorldSmart users on the system. Outlook client support is included to synchronize data from the email server and desktop-clients.

Secure Enrypted Email

Using WorldSmart's optional email encryption feature, users can send and receive secure email messages. WorldSmart utilizes the industry-standard OpenPGP format to encrypt messages using 512 - 4096 bit encryption. WorldSmart includes the ability to sign outgoing messages, allowing the recipient to verify the authenticity of an email.

Full Featured Web Client

The WorldSmart Unified Email service includes the complete Web interface - With the ability for users to send/receive emails, change account passwords, specify autoreply messages, email forwarding rules via the Web interface.

Full Featured Mobile Client

The WorldSmart Unified Email service includes a complete Mobile Client allowing users of wireless devices such as mobile phones, PocketPCs and network-aware PDAs to access email resources. WAP v2 and XHTML is supported, allowing a vast variety of mobile-phones to use the wireless interface, including PDA's built on PocketPC/Palm. Users can read email, compose email, search address books and set preferences.

WorldSmart User Dashboard Integrated Administration

Manage your email preferences through the WorldSmart web dashboard, with the ability to change account passwords, specify autoreply messages and email forwarding rules.

Anti-Virus Scanning

The WorldSmart's Unified Email Service can scan incoming and outgoing messages for viruses, protecting WorldSmart users from malicious infections. Email that contains viruses (as attachments, even if compressed) are automatically deleted from the system. Each message received via the SMTP server can be filtered by the Anti-Virus plugin and mail delivered to the users mailbox if the email is clean. Using the WorldSmart user dashboard you can configure the Anti-Virus feature and define settings. All viruses are logged in the database, allowing you to monitor the system status.

Anti-Spam Filters

WorldSmart's Unified Email service includes a comprehensive email filter which includes Bayesian (learning) filters, DNSBL support, URL checking in messages against blacklists, auto-whitelist for trusted senders from recipients email history and extensive reporting utilities.

Comprehensive WorldSmart Admin Dashboard Interface

The administration of WorldSmart's Unified Email service is made easy by the built in WorldSmart Admin dashboard control panel. The Control panel allows the administrator to add, delete, modify, migrate, and purge-user accounts. The adminsitrator can also set up system aliases and review graphical log statistics of email server usage ( sent/received message, AV/spam reports, user-logins via POP3/IMAP and more ).
